Should the auto executives be taking advice on how to run their business from congressional...?

lawmakers who have put our country into such debt that not only our children but our grandchildren's children will be paying it off?

Should the auto executives be taking advice on how to run their business from congressional...?
Excellent point. It's the Broke begging from the Broke.

Incorrect Sir... Our grandchildren will not have to worry about it. The US will have ceased to exist as we know it buy the time they come of age.

The ship is sinking and the people that are screaming from the mountain tops about how to fix it are being called kooks and fruit cases. But, that is usually the case when its something that the people don't want to hear.

I find it ironic that they are giving the ';Big 3'; this much trouble, but can't seem to print the money fast enough for Paulson's Wall Street buddies.

I guess it DOES pay to have friends in high places.
They are the ones crawling to congress, hat in hand, begging for a handout.

If they want OUR money, they should have to make some serious concessions for it, like any other business or individual.
They have little choice if they want government money. There are always strings attached when you get a handout from them, they're like the mafia, once you take money from them they're your silent partner.
You run your business for one reason, to make money. If you don't you should be fired, not bailed out.
yeah what do they know about anything? there jealous they don't make that kinda money
