when i plug it into the computer it deosnt work cause i need to unlock it! but i have totally forgot my passcode for my ipod touch! i have tried to hold the top button and the home button but it doest do anything..it just restarts! please please pleeasse help me! i donno what to do!I forgot my passcode for my ipod touch!! any advice on how to fi it?
try holding down the home button and then plugging in your ipod to the computer. Continue to hold down the home button until the apple icon shows up or the screen turns black. this should put it into restore mode, and then itunes shouldl recognize it and update your ipod and all your media and settings back on because what you did before was format it and return it to the original factory settings.

you might want to contact apple, cause you should have registered your itouch when you got it so they will have your info about that sort of thing.
Restore your ipod.
