On psych evaluations you have to answer either one way or the other, they will fail you if you keep answering in the middle. When they ask you how you feel about a situation and the choices are ';Do you feel 1) Very Strongly, 2) Somewhat Strongly, 3) Somewhat Not Strongly, 4) Not Strongly at all,'; don't answer with 2 or 3. Just choose the choice that doesn't sound crazy and you'll be fine.
Unless of course, you're crazy. Advice how to pass a psyc exam for police application?
If you can't pass without attempts at trickery, you and the public will both be better off without you on the force.
The person doing the exam will be better at it than you are.Advice how to pass a psyc exam for police application?
Get all of your multiple personalites together, and let them vote on which one is most likely to pass. And hope it's not a tie. Good Luck!
You can't fail a psych exam. They are, however, designed so that it is extremely difficult to hide certain personality traits. It's for the safety of police and the public. Almost impossible to cheat on.
Don't think about it too hard. It honestly is a really long test, if you are taking the MMPI. If you just answer it truthfully though, and don't concentrate too hard (some of the questions are essentially the same) on what you answered before you should be fine. Don't try to answer the questions based on what you think is right, or is what they would want to hear...you will get flagged!
Just sit back, laugh at some of the questions (some are pretty weird) and don't worry about it. If you are flagged there is nothing wrong with you, people get flagged for the stupidest reasons.
Good luck.
The psychologist is judging your personality, character, it's not a questions and answers to a degree. What you tell them might be part of their answer but how you tell them and non-verbal signs will also be part.
If you think you have something to hide they will find that in your exam interview.
Just be honest about answering the questions.
