My Springer turns manic when allowed to swim. She barks and refuses to listen. Any advice on how to cure this?

Her misbehavior is extremely embarrassing and annoying not only to me but everyone else around. She absolutely loves water and I would hate to deprive her of it. This summer I would like to work on it but am not sure where and how to start. I'm having trouble finding any other info or related problems. My Springer turns manic when allowed to swim. She barks and refuses to listen. Any advice on how to cure this?
try getting dog treats and giving them to her when she is good, but when she is hiper like that then offer her one. If she does mot take it then make her stay out of the water the next couple of times. Make sure that you tell her she must be good and lay down or calm down. Other wise try the suggestion in the middle.

  • Any body used the hair liser removel? any advice how to use it any positive or negitive points please?

The pain isn't terrible, but take a pain pill before you go. The less pain, the better. And, from what I hear, women should avoid going at their time of the month.Any body used the hair liser removel? any advice how to use it any positive or negitive points please?
The negatives would be cost, and time involved. The positives are of course permanent hair removal (to a point).

I am currently in the process of having laser hair removal, for my bikini and underarm areas. I researched a few places and based on price, number of treatments, and follow up time I choose one. I am doing 6 sessions, 8 weeks apart with a year of free touch ups after the last session.

Also keep in mind that you shouldn't have a tan when you are having the procedures done as the laser goes for the dark pigment, and that while it IS painful while it is being done, the pain goes away quickly.Any body used the hair liser removel? any advice how to use it any positive or negitive points please?
I've used laser hair removal and find it is quite expensive though. It was quite effective and removed the hair for 6-8 months but some of it did come back. I would make sure you get a good technician who knows what they're doing though. Try researching electrolysis and other types of hair removal.

Can anyone give me advice how to get my late father's credit card debt written off ?

Upon Dad's recent death, we were shocked to find he had three credit card debts, totalling nearly 拢6K. He was only paying minimum payments, which swallowed most of his pension. He has no other assets except share of the bungalow/mortgage with my mother which is in joint-names. He only had a small bank account, through which his pension, mortgage and bills were paid. The cards were in sole name only. His bungalow with my mother is mortgaged in joint-names, but has no life assurance, so now my mother has to pay the mortgage from her small pension. Can these credit card people force my mother to sell her bungalow to pay the CC debt ?? 1 ) check if the card company has insured the card against such eventualities - normally they do - do it discreetly.

2 ) if yes, then you can delcare the card holder dead by sending the death certificate to the card company

3 ) if not, then too, you can still check further if the company has in its regulations mentioned that the inheritors of the card holder's properties are liable or not - this can be done through an advocate /counsellor

4 ) if yes, then check what your local law of the land says in such cases, and act accordingly or

    5 ) finally pay-up.
I would start by sending the credit card companies a copy of his death certificate and see what they say. They may write it off.

How to start a 3 month long water fast? Any decent advice?

Yes, i do know that some may consider this UNhealthy but I still want to do it. Allright? : - )

How to stay motivated during the fast?`

Im doing this for health and spiritual benefits, but also for my weight issue.

Help ! any advice? How to start a 3 month long water fast? Any decent advice?
NO do notYou will get sick , your metabolism all out of order. Y ou will cover yourself with stretch marks that will never go away No time for holocoust diet. My opinion '; DO NOT';How to start a 3 month long water fast? Any decent advice?
You will DIE, not to scare you. But this is impossible. If you want to lose weight, do this in a healthy manner by actually eating- it will be better for you in the long run. I have done this to myself in the past, by starving- I got excited because I lost weight, but then I started gaining it more and more even though I wasn't eating much. If you don't give your body anything, it holds onto any fat you have because it wants to survive. If you MUST do this for ';spiritual'; reasons, fast only for 1 day. But SERIOUSLY do not drink just water, or even eat less than 1200 calories a day- you will screw up your body more than you realize for years to come and it is NOT worth it- trust me from personal experience.
This is the stupidist thing Ive heard ... a water fast ... there is no health benefits to starving your body of the very fluid that sustains life. Go to church or an ashram if you want to explore your spirituality dont torture your body so that you become delusional and believe that your delusions are spiritual enlightenment.

    Man oh man ... people.
Health and spiritual benefits - HAH

Decent Advice? It's stupid and you will not loose weight

Facts? You WILL be depriving your body of the nutrients it needs. Your body will not survive on fat reserves, it will start eating away at your muscle.

So you'll end up unhealthy, weak, and untoned.

Not to mention that your bodily will initially bloat like a balloon in response to your STARVING yourself.

Oh and motivation? Did I mention that the food we eat (and do not eat) has a great effect on our moods? So you'll likely be tired and bitchy the whole time.

You have a weight issue? Grow up - eat healthy and get off your *** to exercise.
this is the stupidest thing I ever heard. You are not Jesus in the dessert without food and water for 40 days. My advice, get really good health coverage before you do this ';diet'; because you are going to get hospitalized.

I can see the ';spiritual benefits'; though, because you are going to be doing a lot of hallucinating.

Find another crazy diet method...like meth might be a little safer.
there is no health benefit to going without water for any length of time let alone 3 months whoever has told you that going without water is good for mind body and soul is wrong if you are determined not to drink water then drink water with a bit of green tea in it camels go a long time without water because they can store it but humans cannot therefor its very dangerous .
Whoa why not start off with a lower goal...I mean I went 2 months with barely eating and lost 90 pds. Now Im a vegetarian and still losing weight(sadly). Sometimes I throw up for no reason, I have low iron and I am suppose to be in the hospital. Take it one month at a time and try and keep yourself busy...thinking about food all the time will not help. Good luck and be careful about it.
Stopping water intake for a diet?? I'm afraid i'll have to call you an idiot. Water actually helps lose weight and essential for your body, going a few days without water is impossible let alone 3 months.
most people would die from 3 days without water.

even if ur like super healthy,

    you'd really kill yourself;

you probably wouldnt survive for more than a month, and maybe not even a week
advice no...just the facts...you will never do it,stop wasting our time

    first eat healthy

    and

mix castor oil + olive oil

and apply it for four hours once a weekHow I can prevent to hairs falling! Water is pretty hard and I'm using Sunsliks shampoo! Pls advice me ?
Leave that dodgy Sunsliks shampoo alone. Try something like Sunsilk, it's much more gentle on your hair.

Liar dimchild - can't you even read?
your hairis ment to fall out- 100 a day..... unless your bald its natural... dont listen to that person telling you not to use sunsilk- all popular brands are crap- BUT pantiene is the worst--- its full of silicone... thats y your hair looks gud wen u use it
It's normal to lose about 100 hairs a day. If you are shedding many more than this or it is coming out in clumps then you need to see a dermatologist.

Make sure you are eating adequate amounts of protein. A balanced diet can do wonders for your hair. Also, stress and hormones can make you lose hair. Don't hesitate to see a doctor if you are losing more than normal - there are many ways to correct the problem.

What is your definition of wisdom and how do you learn to be wise? what advice can you offer on wisdom?

Does age bring wisdom? What is your definition of wisdom and how do you learn to be wise? what advice can you offer on wisdom?
If you listen more than you talk, you will be amazed at the things you learnWhat is your definition of wisdom and how do you learn to be wise? what advice can you offer on wisdom?
I would say maturity, rather than age.

Wisdom comes with learning, and changing, and one cannot unless one is willing. Some people seem to be stuck in ruts all thier lives, and never venture out onto something new, they hold onto thier values and beliefs as they had when they were young,

Wisdom comes with life experience so as long as one is willing and ready to learn and take a look at themselves in each situation and juge themselves and recognize where changes need to be made. With wisdom comes some valuable truths.

Wisdom is allowing someone else to take the ';wheel'; and allow critisim from someone who knows better. ( God)
Wisdom is knowing that everything is a ';cosmic dance of forms';.

If you understand that then you are wise already.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Psalm 111:10 KJV HOLY BIBLE
i guess age could bring wisdom u have to connect with god and leave everything up to him be more centered of urseld love urself and allow life to be as comes wisdom comes thru full connection f urself with all that is bless most high and tou godess
You have asked a Great question. Wisdom in it's basic form, is experienced learned from true knowledge, which is not of the senses. Wisdom grows with age.
I would like to split it up.

First of all wisdom with age. Most definately wisdom comes with experience (rather than age) we all know the many storys that have been told of old. From these stories we have learn't wisdom to be shared and we do. Forever learning, for as long as we are alive we are learning.

Then there is wisdom of spirit. Some people are born with an old head on young shoulders. They may look young but what comes out of there mouth can be profound and sit us down. Often we hear parents say 'oh yes definately he/she has been here before' some actually mean it!!! So they are nurtured correctly and many other gifts emerge, our God given gifts, so to speak. Others may toss it around not really taking their little person seriously...gifts not validated. So little one has to make their own way and alot of as can assimiliate with this entry into our world of wise.

As growth sets in, most of these people seek spiritual pursuits. Philosophy and Religion being of high interest.

The two together, wisdom of age and wisdom of spirit, are easily recognised. Look at our great philosophers and religious leaders and others whom have made a mark in history. Many more to add present day and many more yet to come.

Wisdom has nothing to do with intelligence. Higher Intellect, not intelligence. Intelligence does not promote wisdom as it can go completely the othe way, and that is not wise. History too also shows many intelligent unwise men and women!

Look around you today...wisdom is everywhere, and yet it can also be no where. It will depend on what you perceive to be wisdom...people with letters after their name, or those that just have that knowing awareness and deep spiritual essence about them...and the love that comes with it.

    Wisdom knows love knows wisdom.

    Love, Light and Laughter!

    Harriett Potty ;)
i will give you a short answer..( unusual for me) but I've learned that listening, instead of always talking is wise..We don't learn anything if we monopolize the conversation..
Don't interfere in the matter of others.
    Umm.. tough question.

I don't claim to be wise, but here are a few traits I observed in persons whose ';wisdom'; I respect and admire:

    1. They are able to think clearly thorugh a situation (not necessarily a problem situation) and plan to influence the resolution or outcome of events.

    2. They have a balanced perspective and an understanding of the thought processes and emotions that lead people to behave the way they do.

    3. They *never* react without thinking

and many more subtle qualities... but yes, sadly, most wisdom only comes with age...!
I am 54 years old. I studied, worked, and I think until death I'll learn. I know a lot of things about different themes. But only life can make you wise, all the experience life brings to you. Knowledge is important, because you are able to distinguish lies and truth. And you can think about the meaning of the experiences in your life. And step by step you get a little bit wise. Now I know age brings wisdom, but you have a lot to do for it.
Wisdom is the ability to use your God given conscience to discern between right and wrong. You learn to be wise through experiences you had to face in your life. I don't think age has anything to do with acquiring wisdom.

Charlie do you have your own tools? I would suggest putting and ad in your local craigslist classifieds, oodle, kijiji, and any other classifieds that are free online. I would also suggest to offer 24 hour services. You would be surprised people will call. As an independent 1 to 2 jobs a day should get you by. The 24 hour service should work for you, around here we get alot of after hours calls, more than our guys can get to, we call other shops but nobody wants to work after 4pm. Below are some sources you can put free advertisements on. You might try and build yourself a website to, google and quite a few others offer free sites and templates. If the online thing does not work for ya, you could always hang out in the plumbing isle of a local home center, anyone shopping for parts will need them installed. Hang in there Fella!Unemployed Plumber 18 months now ...depressed any advice on how to find a job?
So sorry. I wish I could hire you. My best advice is to go back to school for something in the healthcare field. However, I am fully aware that you need something right now. Did you go to a temping agency? Have you updated your resume? Have you tried craigslist and indeed.com? Also, have you posted ads? You can post something in a grocery store with a list of skills and qualifications.

    Good Luck
If I were you I would get on a job site like monster.com or yahoo's hot jobs, and submit your resume to anyone and everyone...someone is bound to call you...if you can't find a job in the field that you want try something else....i was a waitress for 3 years(with a baby) and I did just fine, I now work at a big insurance company.

I need some advice on how to start this?

My bf and I moved into our apartment 3 weeks ago and we're all settled in. Lately, we have been lazy with keep the apartment clean. There are already spots on the bath tub. We have all the basic cleaning products...i.e..mop, broom, bleach, Mr. clean, 409, duster...etc. We just need and routine we can work with everyday to keep the place clean. Can any one help us on how to do this?

ThanksI need some advice on how to start this?
Hi there! I know it can be a tough thing to get started in a cleaning routine. Often my husband and I will feel daunted by the house if we don't keep it up. On days where it just plain needs to get done we set a timer for 15 minutes and work our butts off in one room together. Then we chill and relax for 15 minutes and repeat as many times as it takes to get the place tidy. I do this a lot by myself too during the day when I'm home, sometimes having the a bit of an implemented schedule helps keep me on track. Really though, turn on some music, and set a timer for 15 minutes and go! I bet, even just you alone can tidy the bathroom in 15 minutes - it's great exercise too! Also, try gathering all of the cleaning essentials into a bucket or a basket so that when you have a moment and urge to clean you don't first have to go fishing for the required tools and products.

My favourite solution to tub scuz is vinegar on the faucets and for an every day light cleaning, and then mr.clean magic eraser for built up dirt. The vinegar smell fades quickly and reduces hard water and soap scum just as well as the expensive cleaners. I use it on nearly everything in the house.

Even if you only do one 15 minute stint a day then by the end of the week your house should be getting on track. Pick one room a day.

Check out a website called www.flylady.net for cleaning tips too, it's a great website.

Cheers!I need some advice on how to start this?
If you and your BF clean up after yourselves after everything you do your house will only need a quick clean thru once a week...ie; vac, dust, mop...etc.

    For example;

    1) get a squeegee for the shower and use it after you shower.

    2) do one load of laundry a day.

    3) if you dirty a dish you wash it right away.

    4) when you do a quick thru every week wash one window (then another the next week and so on)

    5) remember dirty clothes go in the hamper.

    6) if you try on clothes for work make sure you hang up the ones you've tried on.

Little things like picking up after yourself make a HUGE difference on keeping your house clean.

    Hope this helps, Good Luck!
I can't do a good cleaning unless a few basic things are done first. I need the bed made, the dishes washed, and the laundry picked up. Do those things first and then from there you'll be able to see what needs doing.

Water actually helps lose weight and essential for your body, going a few days without water is impossible let alone 3 months.
most people would die from 3 days without water.

even if ur like super healthy,

    you'd really kill yourself;

you probably wouldnt survive for more than a month, and maybe not even a week
advice no...just the facts...you will never do it,stop wasting our time

Do any of you mothers out there have any advice on how I can get my 2 and 3 year old to share?

It's a really tough one and you will probably be dealing with it one way or another for the rest of their lives!! Serously, teaching our children to share is such a big deal in ur culture and it is really a developmental challenge we impose on children far earlier than they are capable of understanding it. Before kids can be expected to share at all, they first need to have a firm grasp of what it means to have something, or own something, or have something belong to them. We usually insist that children share before we even allow them to ';possess'; anything! Ideally, you want your children to share because they want to, and they can't do this if they are pressured to share. I think when kids are as young as yours are, it is pretty impossible to get them to share consistently or to share more than not share. The best way around it is to probably account for them being unable to share most of the time and then you will be pleasantly surprised when they happen to actually share. For instance, be sure they each have things of ';their own'; that they never have to share. Make sure they understand that it is okay to feel and be possessive of some things and that we all have some things that we don't want to share. The older child will clearly understand this better than the younger one and it will really not be possible for them to learn to share well until they can both grasp the ideas. Children learn ideas through their play and their toys. It would be good if they each have some toys of their own and then together they have other toys that ';belong'; to both of them. It may be hard for them to understand this at their ages so, you need to reinforce it a lot by lettting them know which toys are each of theirs and which toys are sharing toys. If you want them to respect each other's things (certainly part of the concept of sharing) then they should not be able to play with the toys that are exclusively the other ones without their permission. Therefore, if Sally is asleep and Nancy wants to play with the dollhouse that ';belongs'; to Sally, Nancy can not do this because because she needs to get Sally's permission first. This may sound ridiculous right now but, if you start the idea right now you will see that they will learn it and respect it and grow up to understand it. I don't know if they are in the same bedroom or not but, if they have separate bedrooms it creates an easy way for them to be able to keep certain toys for themselves and to be willing to share others. In my home, anything that is in the ';shared rooms,'; (i.e., living room, family room, kitchen area) is considered communal property and no one is allowed to say that someone else can not use it. Likewise, the kids are not allowed to take things from each other's bedrooms without permission because when things are in their own rooms, the things are considered as belonging to them and need not be shared unless permission is granted first. It should also be a good way to get kids to keep their own things in their own rooms but, somehow my kids have learned ways to get around that!! Anyway, I know I've gotten perhaps a little too philosophical here but, I really do think sharing is a difficult thing for little kids to be expected to do. The truth is that if your kids are constantly fighting over toys, they are probably really fighting over wanting your individual attention -- because you are the most difficult thing for them to learn to share. Good luck! I know it's a tough one.Do any of you mothers out there have any advice on how I can get my 2 and 3 year old to share?
Make activities where you and everyone share so they can see, show them is a good thing to do by you sharing with them and where they see people sharing. Children are very perceptive to what they seeDo any of you mothers out there have any advice on how I can get my 2 and 3 year old to share?
I found that by consistently taking away any toy that is being fought over generally works. Let them know in advance that if they start fighting over a toy it will be taken away from both of them. When the toy is returned let them know that any fighting over it will result in it being taken away again.
When they fight quit choosing ';winners'; and ';losers';. No matter who did what first, who is crying, lost out make them both lose. Eventually they will quit fighting if they know the both get in trouble.

As for sharing I use a few techniques, the timer technique, where each get a share until the timer goes off; the fight and no one gets it technique and the old standby, ';it's mine now';.

Seriously, not sharing comes from being allowed to fight. Stop the fighting, don't be afraid to take things away and be consistent.
Yes, it's called PARENTAL OVERSIGHT %26amp; INTERVENTION.

    It's done by PARENTS.

It's not done by the Daycare, or the Babysitter, or the neighbors, or the kids next door, or our best friend's kids who come to visit, or the little gangbangers at school, or anyone else for that matter.

It's done by PARENTS, who stop sitting on their hands, get up away from the TV... or stop going out to get drunk.... and start acting like they give a ****.

Honesty is always the truest form of flattery.
Tough one. I am told that kids simply cannot understand the concept at all until they are 5... something to do with their simplistic concept of ';me'; and ';mine'; (someone will know the theory I am sure).

I find the only way is to say ';if you don't share, I will take it away';. Then do take it away if they don't share! They catch on soon enough.

I also encourage playing with toys that have multiple parts (blocks, tea sets etc) so that sharing is not so difficult.

    Good luck.
simplely yell at them to share or give them time out , my mom did that to me and my bros a lot now that we are older we are smarter and stuff, kids might come back why don't u buy us two and now we are older and know why u can't by 2 but just give them time out and stuff. i use to fear my mom but she was great
Well, the children are 2 and 3 and they are pretty self-centered. Just keep reminding them about sharing and then give positive reinforcement. Look around for some book on sharing that you can read to the kids.
We made a game out of it. It did take some parental play and it didn't happen over night. I got things my kids liked a lot, although they were not expensive. I had something a little nicer than theirs. We would sit on the bed or the floor and play with our toy. Then, I would ask my daughter if I could play with hers. We traded. My son decided that he wanted the toy my daughter had, so they traded. It took about a week of playing, but it worked.
take it away until they do
I'm not a mother yet, but I always watch Supper Nanny on TV (Yeah, kinda corny, I know, but she does give good advice). One of the things I love about her is how she suggests giving stickers (like on a board) for everytime the child does something good, like sharing. And then once he/she gets up to 10 stickers, 20 stickers, however many you want... then he/she gets a prize at the end. My parents used to do something similar with me when I was little and it worked =)
ok tell him he needs to share if he doesnt than take the thing away and tell him he cant have it until he learns to share keep doing this
take it from an experienced dad, teach them to say please at that age. the other stuff can wait another year.
They are a little too young to get this concept yet. They are just babies and very much into self. Give them some time.
This worked for me - It may not be good for everyone but here goes - I would ask my daughter to share something with me..crayon, juice, etc..and if she became bossy I would pretend to cry. Little ones don't like to see mommy upset and she would come to me...we would talk about how it makes us feel good to share and how sometimes it is hard to want to give up the toy/etc. If I asked my daughter and she said, ';not right now please, I would really like to finish etc..'; I would say thank you and leave her with that...I think it is just as important for a child to be able to value their space as share.
i got an idea. Buy them some kind of snack they both really like, but 2 different kinds and give a big amount to each of them and say that they can only eat their share unless theyd like to share. idk if u get what im saying but something along those lines lol
It's a long, slow process. Be patient, be kind, they will eventually get this down. It's a bitter lesson for a little person and they will not do it until it's developmentally appropriate for them to do it and they have had a whole lot of practice!
If it's something cut-able, like a sandwich, or banana, let one of them choose where to cut it, but the other gets to choose which piece they want.
ok well its rly hard i mean i have a 3 yearold bro tht shares wit like his cousin thts his age but the older cousin(7) trys to tke stuff from him but it depends on if its girl girl boy boy or girl boy i mean its different .

boy,boy- usually share but can get rough so they get mad then dont so u have to tell them ifthey cant share then time out or not toys for the rest of the night.

girl,girl-they can get into cat fights and hate sharing so you have to tell them that if they don't share then they'll be seperated and no toys.

boy,girl- hard one. well they don't really have the same toys so lets say they both want the same toy tell them that either they won't get it at all unless they share, by taking turns, or using it at the same time.
Teach them to share by showing them a good example. Say, you and your partner must have time for sharing anything that your kids visually observed and found out. In such situation, your kids will imitate what you are showing to them.
when they are fighting over a toy, try giving the toy a time out. they have to put the toy away until they agree to share it. you could also use a kitchen timer and each one of them gets the toy for 5-10 mins and when the alarm sounds they have to give it to the other child.hope this helps.
let them take turns and get cool things that they like.
share or give it all to the other untill you learn to share

Need advice on how to master a Texas Teacher Job Fair.?

I have recently moved to Texas from out of state. I have attended two district job fairs with over 200 applicants. With this many people crammed into one building all trying to get their resumes to as many principals as possible, has proven very frustrating. I have over 8 years of teaching experience and have never seen a form of hiring like this. I am just hoping there is someone who has gone through a similar process and landed a job who can give me some advice on how to get noticed at a big job fair.Need advice on how to master a Texas Teacher Job Fair.?
In cases like this, it is very important to have evidence of the wonderful lessons you've taught (we all have one or two of them a year) and to portray the passion that you have for teaching. I personally love teaching in the inner city and I love teaching the most struggling students. I guess that makes me a high commodity. Find what makes you special and convey that.Need advice on how to master a Texas Teacher Job Fair.?
I just went to a fair last year...boy are those fun!

Anyway...go online and see what schools are going to be at the fair. Find the ones that you are interested in. Bring around 25 resumes. Most fairs grab at a chance to have an experienced teacher as yourself. I would definetely sell yourself having experience. Research any of the new teaching ideas that are going around. I have had the pleasure to sit in on 10 interviews these past few weeks and have been really impressed when the applicant knows HOW to plan for a lesson. Objectives, Standards, adding Multiple Intelligences, reteaching, assessment and having closure activities. Using student interaction.

Just Sell, Sell, Sell yourself. Majority of the people that go to these are new teachers or teachers with only a few years experience. Just make sure you research the schools that your looking at and know stuff about the schools!

You will do great! Good luck!
Some people just love job fairs... others are extremely disappointed.

Truth is-- usually at a job fair you're only going to participate in a meet-and-greet setting. Sometimes you'll get a 10 minute screening interview. If you do get a screening interview, a recruiter will sit down with you and if you're a worthwhile candidate, you'll be invited to a ';real'; interview at the school district.

Very seldom do recruiters leave a job fair with ';special'; candidates on their mind. Instead, they're using it as a forum for attracting large numbers of applicants to their district so they have more people to choose from when hiring.

To stand out-- have a powerful teaching resume and cover letter on-hand. Make sure your cover letter is excinig and is not missed when they're looking through the pile. Include bold faced words and bulleted points. Add some color or graphics to your letterhead. Why? Because they will be flipping through scores of cover letters-- you'll want them to stop, pause, and think when they get to yours.

If you do interview with a school recruiter, be sure you leave a positive impression. With 8 years of experience, you have a definite edge over 95% of the other candidates. Use it to your advantage. Whenever you're asked about something, make it seem like you've been doing it throughout your career (you probably have!)

    Example-- A recruiter asks, ';How would you teach writing?'; Don't say, ';I would...'; Instead you should be saying, ';This is how I teach my writing lesson every week! .....';

    Another example-- A recruiter asks about your classroom management philosophy. Don't say, ';I think it is important to...'; Instead you should be saying, ';Over the 8 years I've been teaching, I've found the most effective ways to avoid discipline problems are......';

In your case, I'd say your experiences is your best assett. Use it to your advantage-- be sure the interviewer knows that you're already a successful teacher.

I hope this helps you! Good luck!
i dont know about tx. but b/f you go check out the schools you are tryn to work out. %26amp; go straight to their booth %26amp; interview. then do a check list %26amp; make calls the following week to follow up. i actually landed my teachin job this way.

most of the principals are actually at the fair. which is good. %26amp; take about 25-30 resumes.

Any advice on how to deal with ';office politics';?

i just started a new job and it is in an office environment. In the few weeks that i have been there I have already noticed alot of certain cliques, groups, gossiping etc. I wanted to know if any one has any advice for me on how to deal with ceratin ';office politics';? My own advice would be to just keep to myself rather than become too friendly and then have problems with someone but i also don't want to seem snotty by keeping my distance from people? any advice?Any advice on how to deal with ';office politics';?
    stay positive

    don't get into the cliques

be nice to EVERYONE, every single person

you don't want to burn any bridges, you might need that person at work someday! and they will be more helpful to you if you are nice.

smile and say hello to every person when you get into work

if people start gossiping with you, try and change the subject instead of getting into it with them (this is easier said than done)

    never leave anyone out

    never take sides

never say bad things about anyone at work to your co-workers (i know everyone has to vent so save it for your friends or mom or whomever)

good luck! it's like that, in every workplace, so try and get your groove as the cool work girl now! you will go so much farther as the girl who everybody likes, versus the cold hard mean ******.

good luck!Any advice on how to deal with ';office politics';?
    The best advice is to keep you nose clean and stay out of any office politics. Be everyones friend. If someone complains to you about a co-worker just say something like '; I am just here to work';

Just do your job and ignore the extraneous b.s.
You can ignore the politics and still be polite.

Always be cordial with your fellow staff, however don't get personal and avoid being social outside of the workplace.

They will just think you are a private or shy person.
I agree with Sincere in that being too standoffish may make you a target. Light and neutral is surely the best way to go. You certainly don't have to join a clique, or go to every lunch, but once in a while will keep you in the loop, but not smother you in togetherness. And try to avoid gossip at all costs- listen if you must to be polite, but don't join in. It can come back to bite you and be deadly.
You can be friendly with people but don't get involved in conversations that involve other co workers or make comments about anybody. Funny, an office is pretty much just the same has high school with the cliques and back stabbing!
Office politics just gets people into a lot of trouble in the end. After being in an office environment for 11 years I have come to the terms that I will tell it like it is and let them take it at their own will. With your situation, they are just testing you to see how trustworthy that you really are and finding faults to use completely against you. In my first couple years in the office, I just stayed to myself and only said what I needed to say. Co-workers figured out that I am not going to deal with their nonsense. Just let them talk and do their own thing. You do your own thing. You only work there. If you make friends with them, be careful and just stay on the light side of things. Don't feel like you have to trust the people you work with. They eventually are going to tell you that you are part of the ';family';. Then you still need to be very careful. Just don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe and say what you believe. I think that you will find it more useful and beneficial for you at your employment.
I generally try to stay out of it. You never know when you say something to one person, how it will get twisted out of context and passed on to others.

When the others start talking gossip and what not, I listen for a minute or 2 not too seem rude, %26amp; then make an excuse that I'm busy and have to get back to something on my desk.

Polite, but not rude way of staying out of the gossip mill.
Be friendly to everyone in general. I would concentrate on your work.

Do not allow yourself to become involved with all the office politics.

Keep busy, management will notice. After all you are being paid to work.

Walk away from those that are complaining.

If they come to you asking for your imput, or advice explain to them that you are busy and have no time to listen to their concerns or complaints, that you were hired to work, and if they have concerns maybe they need to follow the chain of command and lodge their concerns with the appropriate parties.

If they have a personal complaint with a coworker they should try to work it out with them privately, not in a group.
Best way is to keep conversations 'light', that is about 'neutral' subjects. Stay away from gossiping.

Your co-workers are feeling you out at this point, seeing if you can be trusted, gathering ammo so they can use it against you at a later date. Trying to be your friend, so they can stab you in the back.

Just try to be the best person you can, you can't please them all.

Keeping to yourself might make you a target, so you might want to mingle somewhat.

Any advice for how to get started jogging???

Ive never and i mean never been a jogger, but Im not working now and need to get back into shape. Ive no idea about what helps and what hurts when trying to build stamina. Im only 22 if that makes a difference. I know about proper footwear and hydration I get the basics. I smoked for almost 10 ( i started at 11) years so any advice on how to get my lungs not to feel like they are on fire would be nice. If your gunna be rude just dont answer please.Any advice for how to get started jogging???
Well since you said don't be rude, I'll be nice. First off, start slow. Don't burn yourself out the first time or you won't want to go out and do it again. I have no idea what kind of shape you're in, but if you have never jogged, I would stick to a short jog to start off. Pick out a nice one mile route anywhere. It can be around your neighborhood or a park, you get the idea. I think every other day is fine for any one. Change your route up so you don't get bored. With time increase your trip distance and if you get into it, you can time yourself and try to beat past times. What helps is the continued desire to be healthy. What hurts, is worth it to feel healthy. Being 22 there really isn't much you can hurt while jogging, unless you have some preexisting condition. You might be a little sore your first week, but it goes away. Oh by the way, if you haven't quit smoking already, you probably already know that it's pretty counter productive to getting into shape, and that burning in your lungs will never go away as long as you continue to do so. If have quit or will, the burn goes away too after awhile of conditioning your body. Good luck!Any advice for how to get started jogging???
well, im a runner and during the beginning of the season they KILL US. they make us start out really hard then get easier and easier. (or maybe we are just in shape?) idk. but i guess if your just like...trying to get in shape and not compete, start out small. lift weights...maybe go to a gym around you and ask them for their opinion on what you should do to work out? they will be able to see you physically and what kind of shape your in, and they will know a little something about your lungs
Start by putting one foot in front of the other and carry on from there
Start nice and easy and run for a little like down to starbucks or something. Then Start running farther and mabye try little hills. After you have become a pro at just runnin try to run at a incline like on a steep road.
    try left - right, left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,left - right,
good start is to walk! make sure you can walk half an hour with no problem.

next step: add some jogging in. to begin, you can walk 4 minutes, jog 2 off and on for half an hour or so. Do NOT worry about your speed/pace--distance and time and quality are more important.

gradually jog more and walk less (i.e.: walk 3, jog 3; walk 2, jog 4 min; walk 1; jog 5; walk 1, jog 8...) , you get the idea.

Do it at your own pace--whatever you are comfortable with. Make sure you push your self a little more each week--but not too hard at first because you may just burn out and get discouraged. Keep a positive outlook, know what you're doing will keep you healthy and in shape!
    1. Put on running shoes

    2. Stretch

    3. Go outside or get on treadmill

    4. Start running
I recommend doing yoga to practice your breathing. Try to stretch everyday so you get ready for jogging and preventing injury. Dont eat too much before you run(You will feel your whole chest burning if you eat something unhealthy or just too much. ) For motivation, after you run, give yourself a check. If you have at least 4 checks, give yourself a treat--preferably new clothes.
Footprints towards the path of progress are not made sitting down.
start with walking and work up to jogging. I am 48 and about 1 1/2 yrs ago started walked and really trying to loose weight. I had trouble walking even 1/4 mi on my treadmill--pathetic, right? I worked up to walking --power type walking for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs with no problems at all now. I have recently started jogging and can now jog almost 1/2 mile without any difficulties. This isn't much but its a start. ANd i've lost 23 lbs and I look pretty good right now. All I need to do is loose some belly fat and I'll be great. I was a size 16, now I'm a size 10. YEAH!!
just walk at first until u get used to it. when u feel like ur fit enough start jogging slowly then go faster and for longer and further distances.
My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website

http://www.hesayyes.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
Before you start joggin, start going for brisk walks, andthen buld it gradually up to jogging slowly, another technique is to walk for 5 mins, then skip for 5 and then jog for 5, and keep repeating it, it will build you stamina up loads if you do it regulary x
it will hurt for a while because your not use to needing more oxygen while running. just practice everyday if you can. do 5 minet warmup jogs and strech and take time to breath and then do a long jog. what ever level you like to run. just keep pushing yourself. youll gewt use yo it and then it wont be hard to breath. the more days you run the longer you can extend your distance each time.

About $20. Well worth it. I know cuz I lost 2 very expensive schnauzers cuz I never thought to have them microchipedHow much is to put a chip in a cat , so it wont get lost , All advice.?
Hi there...microchipping prices vary depending on location of where you are and who does the minor procedure (e.g. $40-60).

The microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is encased in a biocompatible glass, the same used in human pacemakers, to prevent rejection from the animals body. In cats, the microchip is inserted into the loose skin on the back of the cat's neck using a specially designed implanting device. Insertion is a quick and easy process that causes no more discomfort than a usual vaccination.

Here's a FAQ sheet by the humane society about microchipping and how it works:

    http://www.hsus.org/pets/issues_affectin鈥?/a>
Its small, I believe like $65...and I am totally against it.

All it is, is conditioning of the general population that small GPS tracking implants are safe and okay. Once its a common item among the masses....PEOPLE will start to be tagged with them.

As the Bible states.....man will be marked w/ the number of the beast....on the back of his hand or forehead. Well experiments so far on humans is to implant it into the webbing between the fingers.

Stand up for your rights and your kids future rights.....just say no.
If the cost is an issue contact the P.A.W.S foundation for help, they might be able to help you get it done for free.
My vet charged $68.00 for the chip. If I had to do it over I would call the Human Society or Friends of Animals and ask them to recommend a vet who has a reasonable priced chip.
the cost varies from vet to vet. it is not cruel. but it wont prevent your cat from getting lost, but it MIGHT aid in finding your cat. if your cat gets lost and taken to a vet or shelter, IF they have the chip scanner, they can find the owner. if not, well...you know.
Microchipping is a benefit to help your lost cat be returned to you when captured by animal control. They scan for a chip and when the information shows up they give you a ring to let you know they found your kitty. It's definitely worth the peace of mind. It doesn't cost much we had our kitty chipped with the AVID microchip system for $25 through the Humane Society. It didn't hurt since it's like an injection and the chip looks like a see-through glass rice grain. It's certainly not cruel to your pet as it guarantees a higher percentage of him finding his way back to you whoever finds and scans him if they think to do it.
First of all let me say the chip is the best choice you can make for your pet. I beleive they cost around 40-60 bucks. Its a quick painless shot pretty much. If your worried you are harming your pet allow the vet to explain everything to you untill you are happy. That is part of the vets job to keep you and your pet happy.
    a. it does not mean that the cat won't get lost. He can still get lost, but if found and scanned by a vet, they can locate you. It does not act as some sort of electronic 'leash'.

    b. no, it is not cruel. It would be a very responsible thing for you to do. It doesn't hurt much more than his normal vaccination shots

    c. don't know the cost in different areas, so can't comment on that.
the price of microchipping depends on who is doing it and where it is done. Some areas are just more high-priced for everything. Our local SPCA has a clinic, twice a year, where they will microchip for $35.00. The price to have this doneat the vet is twice that. Maybe call you local shelter as ask. They may have a program there.

The microchips are a great idea in case you kitty would ever get out and get turned into a kennel. More and more vets are getting scanners in their offices so that they can trace strays that people bring in.

It is not cruel to not have it done, and it doesn't guarantee that it will help you find a stolen or wandered off pet, but it does increase your chances greatly. Just be sure to keep you address updated with the company where it is registered, in the event you more in the future.
We just had a chip put in our kitty and it was about $50. Once it is in, you fill out the paper work and send it to the humane society so that if it is brought it, they can scan the kitty and then your info appears. It didn't cause my mean kitty any pain and he didn't even need to be sedated. This is highly unusual for him because he needs to be sedated for just a regular exam. Good luck!
Your cat is either taking a stroll around the block. Or, it is getting ready to die. Or it has a girlfriend or boyfriend and he will not come back.
I think it's inhumane. How would you like it if someone did that to you? It doesn't work anyway unless someone finds your pet and takes it to a shelter or vet. Teach your cat not to go outside. It's not that hard.

  • Free advice on how to switch credit cards for lower interest?

Call your credit card company and ask for a lower rate. Threaten to close the account and switch to another company... name one. (Although it is better for your credit report to keep the account open and just not use it.) Credit card companies *can* go as low as about 7%, so don't take no for an answer!!!Free advice on how to switch credit cards for lower interest?
Before switching, you should try calling your current card company and ask them to lower your interest rate. If they do not want to lower your rate, let them know that you will be closing your account (just to threaten them). There is a ton of information on the Internet but I am not sure it is free. I have purchased a couple of books that offer some advice. One is Zero Debt by Lynette Khalfani. Money magazine had an article in their May issue that told you what to say verbatim to get companies to lower your interest rates.Free advice on how to switch credit cards for lower interest?
if you are asking for free advice, isn't that the whole point of the yahoo answers? anyway, the best thing to do is actually CALL your current credit card and ask them to lower the rate. believe it or not, if you are not maxed out and have ok credit, they might. if you have a varible rate, then you will have no control over the rate regardless what you do. if you are trying to switch to a lower rate card, then you have to make sure that you clear the you want a FIXED rate. if you get an inital lower rate, make sure to know when it ends. it is tricky. good luck. just try to pay them off asap!
    http://www.ehow.com/how_2404_lower-inter鈥?/a>
Call up the credit card company and ASK them for a better deal. Ask for a manager.

Wait for that JUNK MAIL in your mailbox, and read the terms - if you can get a better rate for NO TRANSFER FEE, do it.

Transfer it to another card with better terms.

DON'T BE SUCKED IN - many of the balance transfers have 3% fees - so instead of 9% in a year, they get a third of that instantly, PLUS whatever they charge.

Pleasee Advice me...... [How to unlock Center differential lock indicator light for toyota prado] ?

Can any one advice me how can me unlock Center differential lock indicator light of toyota prado?? I was just changing the Gears for desert drive.., But suddenly this light indicated., I have no idea this is for what purpose..? How can me unlock this? My vehicle has automatic transmission gear and , the desert drive gear are (N / HL / H / L / LL)Pleasee Advice me...... [How to unlock Center differential lock indicator light for toyota prado] ?
it will unlock itself once you change from LL or L to HL or H, once you do that, you just have to ride backwards (retro) for about 20 feet to disengage it.

The purpose of the central differential is to transfer the power in 50/50% fixed proportion between the frontal axle and the rear axle, is very convenient whenever you are off roading because if you enter a slippery area with both the frontal wheels, you will still have traction control from the rear wheels.

Any advice on how to land your axel in figure skating???

i been working on my axel for a loooong time now.Any advice on how to land your axel in figure skating???
    A very interesting question.

    My answer would be...

With the skating blade down, beneath the shoe, so it will hit the ice.

Good luck to ya.Any advice on how to land your axel in figure skating???
I must admit at first the axel is a tough jump to land, but after some hard work I began landing it within a couple weeks of learning it. Sure it wasn't perfect at first but now after getting used to how it feels I'm getting close to working on double-axels.

Some things to keep in mind when working on it are to not overload your head with thoughts, just keep in mind what your goal is and stop thinking about what other people are doing and that should start to help.

Also since I don't now what your troubles seem to be when attempting it I'll just give you the tips that I find most helpful. When going for your axel I don't recommend doing it from a stand still because its not preparing you for what you'll be doing in a solo of test, etc also I find that if you keep your right shoulder up and back and your left shoulder down and in front (if you jump normally, do the reverse if you jump with your left foot) it prevents you from rotating before taking off. Also always practice back spins before doing your axel because it prepares you for the position that you should be in in the air.

And finally doing your axel off-ice is actually harder, but it really does prepare you for whatever may arise on ice so practice your jumps off ice as well.

Hope I helped and good luck with you axel!
Alot of the time people forget that an axel is just a waltz jump plus pulling into a backspin position for a revolution. So remember to make that waltz jump entrance big.

When you land, dont reach for the ice. (that was my problem, i would expect to fall and reach for the ice) And try not to land directly on your toepick.

Practice off ice EVERY day! i got mine in less than two weeks, but i practiced all the time off ice.

Im gonna assume your a righty: Keep your left shoulder in front, and your right in back. This can also help with swingyness.

with reguards to setting up accounts etc many thanksWould like some genuine advice on how to start a web based buissiness i.e. what exactly is the guide lines?
There is no one answer to your question. What you need to do depends on what type of business you're starting.

If you're going to be selling on ebay you need a Paypal address and can use your personal bank account. If you're looking to write articles for websites, then all you need is a paypal account.

If you're looking to be an affiliate then you need to open an account with commissionjunction/shareasale type companies.

If you're looking to sell your own products you'll need a payment processor to handle payments, a website or webspace, advertising or affiliates etc.

What you need to do is first decide HOW you are going to make money and WHAT type of business you want to run.

Get an interest, do something you are passionate about; many people eat and eat to fill that emptiness within them, which is mental emptiness and not physical hunger.

Can anyone give me advice or tips on how to lose weight and gain muscle?

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we've known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don't. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.

Vary your routines. Don't eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn't adjust to any one routine.

An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.

Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc.Can anyone give me advice or tips on how to lose weight and gain muscle?
Your workout to lose fat gain muscle should start with a bodyweight circuit warm-up. This is much better than a treadmill warm-up, and takes even less time. Three to five bodyweight exercises done in a circuit is best, repeated twice.

Follow that with strength training supersets. You鈥檒l do upper body on one day and lower body the next day. Then take a day of rest, do another (different) upper body workout and another (different) lower body workout. Then rest on the weekend. That is the best schedule for gaining muscle without overuse injury.

The Turbulence Training for Muscle and TT Meathead workouts use supersets to help you get more results in less time.

http://www.tindo.net/2009/06/about-turbu鈥?/a>Can anyone give me advice or tips on how to lose weight and gain muscle?
Intense cardio, healthy eating. Do you enjoy running, it would be the best and quickest way to lose weight. Add in some push ups, chin ups, lunges, squats, stairs, dumbbell flyes/curls to decrease the amount of time it takes and increase the amount of muscle you have. You can put weights in a backpack and jog with that (just don't make it too heavy). If you enjoy or would go swimming that would be quite good to help.
YOU KNOW I HAVE ANSWERS ..QUESTIONS LIKE THESE BEFORE.

I took my time typing all this..i know this is long but give it 5 min reading =) it will help you

Below what i am about to tell you works for loosing weight and adding protein in your diet helps your muscles work good.

Breakfast: Boil eggs. Wheat bread, low fat milk for your corn flakes cereal, piece of fruit always in your breakfast. Also if you want to eat freid eggs or omelet, loose the yolk and eat whites only.

Morning snack:usuallyb/w 10:30-11am: 2cups of veggies or protein bar

Lunch: salad, turkey or chicken lunch meat with wheat or whole grain bread, brown rice, beans. (i know brown rice does not taste that good but you can add spices to make it yummy!!

afternoon snack: piece of fruit or yogurt

Dinner: meals with grill chicken / grill fish is good.

Fish is good for your brain. 2 cups of veggies

    Veggie burger taste good :)

Wheat pasta no ground meat. use grill chicken.

Remember loose or at least cut down on pork and red meat.

Very important WATER is very good in loosing diet.

Also if you like green tea, drink hot green tea it has antioxidants very good for you and helps breaks up the fat in your body.

If you want to gain muscles. Chicken is very good.

Breast part of chicken is good for muscle gain.

    Shrimp is good.

    Eggs, beans source of protein.

Protein shake easy way to gain muscles. But of course with work out!!!

And you mention you want to gain weight. so i will suggest for you to lift weights..start by lifting light wights, and once your body gets use to of it then do more..the key is to lift more weights and do less reps..that's only if you want to gain muscle and want to make 'em big.

People who lift small weights and do more reps they simply want to lean their muscles.

The key is to eat 5 times small portions in order to loose weight.

Eat small portions. And everytime you get hungry eat an apple or any piece of fruit, Veggies very good in loosing weight.

    F-Y-I :

If you decide to do this, all the fruit and veggies eating will make you very regular, it will clear your colon. so you will make about 3-4 trips of rest room.

Remember water water water..drink water very good for you. clears skin and acne too. good for kidneys as well.

    Good luck
    8 glasses of water daily.

cut sodas, chips, fried foods, and dark meats.

drink more pomegranate juices, grapefruit juices, and

definitely take on the green tea :)

along with regular exercise of course.

    30 min of cardio.

weights to target every part of your body.

youll see the weight start to shed and the muscle begin to define itself.
    In a nutshell:

    Eat nutritious meals.

Burn more calories than you consume.

Maintain a healthy exercise regimen that alternates cardio with strength training.

    Have fun with it.
Lose weight: Do high intensity aerobic exercise 5 times a week and reduce your calorific intake.

Gain muscle: Train with heavy weights and increase your protein intake.

    That's it!!!

Oh my God! What retard would even go and ask that question? That is SO unhealthy to throw up to get skinny! That's sooo horrible. I cannot believe that! And people!! People are answering this question! Clearly they have no care for their, or the young girl's, society!
that is terrible. i know some peoples answeres are so rude, but to give that sort of info isn't right.
That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard! They souldn't even tell them it's o.k to still throw up!
    is that a question?
It's appauling. I was watching this movie about anorexia and there were some refferences to sites that promote it. so i did a little research of my own on the internet and found out there are a whole load of pro-anorexia and pro-bulimia sites with plenty of advice on how do do it and not get caught. these people even call anorexia 'ana' and bulimia 'mia' in an endearing way and promote them as a girl's friends. If this happens on Yahoo Answers as well, the staff should definitely take action, as these people are toying with other people's lives!

I have a 4 minute passing time, so for classes that are far apart grab all your books until you're close to your locker. Fixing your hair probably take most of your time so carry a mirror with you and fix when you reach class, since you'll be early.I have school with 3 minute passing period. do you have any advice on how to get to class on time?
for one thing, referencing the other answers, carry your books until you can get close to your locker. the first couple days teachers are usually lenient so get a feel for the various halls and how they move (traffic flow). also, dont worry about your hair. if your hair is fine in the morning, people will understand that it will get stranger throughout the day.
3 minutes is plenty of time to pass classes. Why do you have to fix your hair. Do it in the morning before you go to school. When you get to classes ask a friend if your hair looks alright. Take you books with you from one class to another. Or line then up before you go home and have them in order for the next day as you finish with one put it on the floor of you locker and they will be in order.
    Teleportation.
well today was my first day and 3 minutes is plenty of time. carry all of your morning books with you and then when its lunch time go and switch with your afternoon books. you dont need to fix ur hair every 45 mins so just get it nice and need before school and during lunch you can go to the bathroom and get beautiful again! :D

    Wisdom knows love knows wisdom.

i will give you a short answer..( unusual for me) but I've learned that listening, instead of always talking is wise..We don't learn anything if we monopolize the conversation..

How close is she to the original home? She may be trying to get back. I would notify your uncle to keep an eye out and maybe post up some pictures and your phone number just in case someone sees her . Good luck :(((How can I get my new cat to come home? she ran away after living with us for 2 days. What r the odds? Advice?
