You have to ignore them if they behavior is bad. I'm assuming (correct me if I'm wrong) that theyre feeding you the whole behavior of ';Im older, wiser, I know it all, Im the queen and king of the world';. The reason I say that is because my grannie is like that. She lies, manipulates, etc. I have to stay away from her, ignore her. But be respectful even if they arent to you. I spoke to a psychiatrist today who told me my grannie's behavior was characteristic of the beginnings of dementia/alzheimers. 80 year olds and up can have 40% of dementia symptoms already in them.Any advice on how to handle elderly grandparents?

yes...love and cherish them for the treasures they truly are, for you won't have them for long.
My advice is to just be patient
