My husband and I tried to get our little one to do this too. He was uncomfortable, but he wanted to learn. So, we put the training wheels back on and bent them up just a little. When riding his bike he had to try harder to stay balanced. After some practice in the driveway we bent them up a little more and then he was learning to turn and balance. That way he can teach himself and grow confident. I always watched him if his brother or sister was not around. Just don't rush it ,let your little one know what you are doing and just a little at a time! Good luck you 2 and what a cute pic! GOD blessAny advice on teaching my 7 yr old how to ride a bike?
well there is really nothing you can do. you can't force him to ride if he doesn't want to. the best thing to do is have other children maybe from your neighborhood ride with him and that will maybe influence him. or you could just wait untill he gets older and hope that he decides to try on his own
make sure he dont tilt. just stay really near him when he rides without it. or just hold on to the handle bars while he is riding. make sure he rides slow. when u feel u can let go just let go very slowly.
Sure, walk along with him (without training wheels on) and let go every now and then. Go slow and show him how good he is at balancing. Let him know the more he pedals the easier it is. Stay right with him until he wants to try it more on his own. He will. The best to both of you!
